Location: Barlows Primary School, Barlows Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool L9 9EH

Hear from Headteacher Stacey Feenan on how Barlows Primary has taken a pedagogy-first approach to their technology usage, and take part in a series of workshops presented by Abdul Chohan, VP of Learning at Showbie, including:

  • Developing High Quality Assessment: review Dylan Wiliams’ work on ‘minute-by-minute assessment’ and discuss best practices - including how to leverage real time data to inform next steps and planning.

  • Delivering Effective Feedback:: see how alignment of policy with Education Endowment Foundation recommendations supports the delivery of highly impactful feedback.

  • Leveraging Artificial Intelligence: participants will explore the advantages and risks of AI in the classroom. This session will provide practical examples that can be implemented without delay.
