The session is being led by Alex Handy, Digital Creativity Lead for Castle Phoenix Trust. We have 6 schools, 3 secondary and 3 primary all using iPad and Explain Everything.

iPad across the Curriculum
In this half-day workshop, explore the range of built-in and free apps that make iPad an essential tool for engaging learners and supporting learning in every subject. An iPad will be provided for use during the session.
This course is from the Greenwich Apple Regional Training Centre and is hosted by Heronsgate Primary School (an Apple Distinguished School). It is free to attend for schools subscribing to the Greenwich Schools Alliance.

AFL, Modelling and Guided Practice ideas with iPad
Find out how to enhance a variety of key teaching & learning using iPad and several common digital tools.
In this hands-on workship, we will explore some of the most effective approaches to using iPad and a range of free online tools to explore how to use technology to enhance 3 key areas:
Assessment For Learning (AFL)
Modelling
Guided Practice
Attendees will be able to try these out in different contexts and consider their applications as part of wider school teaching and learning strategies.
The workshop will suit any teachers or educators wanting to make effective use of iPad.
